Gouriqua 305 is a luxurious self-catering two-bedroom apartment in Mossel Bay. It has panoramic views of the sea and mountains and is located within walking distance of the beach and various great restaurants. Guests can park their car in the safe basement parking and walk where ever they wish.

The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and the second bedroom has a separate bathroom. The spacious open-plan living area is equipped with a leather lounge suite, an LCD TV with full DStv and a DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with a washing machine, a tumble-dryer and a dishwasher. The living area joins the dining room and kitchen in an open plan format with beautiful modern finishes that will please even the most discerning eye.

The enclosed balcony has stack doors that open onto the lovely view of the historical Diaz Museum where the Diaz Caravel, the Diaz Post Tree and the shell museum are located. Mossel Bay is said to have the second most moderate climate in the world, making it ideal for outdoor living 12 months of the year. This apartment will cater for all your needs, all you have to bring is yourself and your beach towel.

Stay was excellent. Close to all amenities. I did not use my car for three days and hey i did not need it. The accommodation was great. Anton you made it all so easy with a easy check in and check out.

Super!!! by

We stayed at Gouriqua 305 for 2 nights. The apartment has everything you need to stay for a short or long stay. What impressed me the most was its proximity to the town. You can quite literally walk everywhere from this spot and leave the car in the basement. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely make a plan to go back. Thanks Anton!!

Disappointing by

We arrived with high hopes to this modern attractively furnished apartment overlooking the sea, but after a string of issues, we left after only having spent one of the three nights booked. Unfortunately the lift was not working, so we had to schlep all our stuff up 4 flights of stairs....apparently the lift had not been operational for 2 weeks and parts are expected from overseas. When we opened the front door, there was a really bad smell, so assuming it was a musty seaside smell in a locked up apartment, we opened the stacking doors and windows to let in some fresh air. The smell actually emanates from the drain in the shower in the main bedroom. There was some luminous lime green "disinfectant" lurking in the drain, which we tried to flush out with water...to no avail. Turns out that there is a structural problem with the shower/drain. Reading other reviews, I see this was already a problem in February..... There are no curtains in the bedrooms, so despite closing the blinds, the passage light shines into the room. I think some block out curtains would help with this, as well as helping block out the traffic noise. The road is quite busy and and noisy. We did speak to Anton to tell him we were leaving after only staying one night. He was very apologetic and I do feel for him, as some of these issues are "building" issues, but the fact remains that one can't rent out a place when you already know there are problems that have been brought to your attention. He said he would refund us some of our money, but 3 days later I have had no acknowledgement by him of having received my bank details, let alone any refund deposited into my account. I sincerely hope that he manages to sort out these issues as it is a lovely apartment and centrally situated within walking distance of everything. My scoring is solely based on what we felt...If the stink wasn't there, it would have been higher.

Within walking distance of some very good restaurants, no need to worry about drinking and driving. Apartment was great and did look like the pictures. Modern and new and comfortable. Great stay - will be back

AWSOME by

We had an awsome stay at Gouriqua. Was spotless and modern with an exceptional view. Everything you need for self catering. Very nice location (close to everything). Dont need to worry about your safety as it is very secure complex. Service and responce from owner was also great. Overall had a very nice stay and highly recomend it for everyone visiting Mossel Bay. Will definitely be back.
