Wish we spent longer! by

We stayed one night at Guesthouse LaRachelle as a stopover between the Garden Route and Cape Town, but wish we had considered staying a couple of nights to explore the area around Swellendam. The guesthouse was very comfortable, with helpful hosts and a very good breakfast. It would certainly be a good base for exploring the area and ideal for relaxation at the end of a busy day.

Really enjoyable by

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Rochelle,it was comfortable,spotlessly clean and the hostess was very welcoming indeed, couldnt have offered us more. The only thing missing from making it a 4 star was not having air con.

Great value for money by

We had a lovely weekend stay. We appreciated the little details in our room. The accommodation is modern, clean and private. The location is so convenient, in walking distance of shops, museums and restaurants. Very friendly hosts. Thank you!

Quiet neighborhood, rooms are very neat and cosy. Although guesthouse a small refrigerator could be very helpful in summer. Very friendly and polite people.
