The Haarwegskloof Reserve lies between Bredasdorp and Swellendam, just north of De Hoop Nature Reserve. And this Reserve provides more than a tranquil and relaxing setting ? it's a piece of history, home to the largest connected stretch of Lowland Renosterveld left in the world today. Stay in our Old Dairy Guesthouse ? self-catering accommodation with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Use our cosy indoor fireplace during winter, and our swimming pool and braai facilities in summer. Parking is on the premises. Walk, hike or cycle through the reserve and quiet farm roads, and see conservation at work to save this critically endangered habitat. There's lots to do in the area: visit the neighbouring De Hoop Nature Reserve, enjoy a wine-tasting at Sijnn Wines in nearby Malgas, take the old pont (ferry) at Malgas, and enjoy the many bush pubs around the Breede River.
