For a break in a tranquil environment, glide into Hangar 5 which will cater to all your needs in homely comfort.

There are two double rooms available, with en-suite bathrooms. The upstairs unit is the largest of the two, and also comes with a private deck. Both rooms are fitted with fridges, tea and coffee-making facilities, microwaves and three-plate stoves. A braai facility is available with a wood pack at a nominal fee. We also offer a hearty breakfast on request.

Only two hours from Pretoria and Johannesburg, we are perfectly situated on the N4, surrounded by mountains and many historic sights. The Kruger National Park is only four hours away. Our historical little town, Waterval Boven, has wonderful hikes and sights. For the rock climbing fanatics, our mountainous environment offers one of the best locations in South Africa.

Our stay at Hangar 5 was really really great. Our hosts Rosa & Charl made sure our comfort came first and all our touristy questions answered as best as possible (the aricle extracts were a great addition). Waterval Boven is situated among beautiful mountain ranges that stretch as far as the eye can see and there are many roads ready to be explored. The breakfast was delicious and we felt very much at home at Hangar 5 with Rosa and Charl :).
