Heatherhill is situated on a 37-hectare farm in the countryside which is only 9 km from Plettenberg Bay. Set on a hill, the farm offers views of the bay and the Tsitsikamma Mountains. The Keurboomstrand beach is a five-minute drive away.The accommodation available is an open-plan loft which has a private sun deck overlooking the mountains and the Indian Ocean to the south. The loft sleeps up to four guests sharing. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and the en-suite bathroom includes a shower over the bath. Fresh linen and towels are replaced weekly and beach towels are available .The farm has five dams which are each stocked with bass and it offers tranquility amongst the fauna and flora of the Garden Route. Walking paths on the farm and an information pack is provided for local attractions. Plettenberg Bay is a mere 10-minute drive away and it offers a variety of shops, restaurants, beaches and a cinema. Each season offers the visitor something special, whether it be the whale season, the different wild flower seasons or the December holiday season. Enjoy ocean safaris, nature walks, various golf courses, horse riding or visits to Monkeyland, Birds of Eden, the Knysna Elephant Park and the Reptile Sanctuary.

Heatherhill - So far, yet so near by

We were met by our very friendly and helpful host, Peter, who introduced us to the place. The accommodation was spacious, well laid out, clean and lacked nothing for our 3-night stay.and the setting was to die for. Pity my recovering leg did not allow me to explore the farm. Cameron, however got to ride with Peter on his tractor and explored the farm. We felt as though we were miles from any civilisation, yet Plett was just 10 k's down the road. Before we left, Cameron (9) made us promise to visit Heatherhill again next year. This place can definitely be recommended.

Our say in Heatherhill has been excellent . Unfortunately it has been too short . I hope we would be back for a longer stay.

Awesome Stay by

We had such a wonderful stay. The beautiful, clean cottage tucked away in such awe inspiring surroundings has all the amenities one needs. The friendliness and personal touch from Lisa, like the chocolates, bottle of  filtered water, litre of milk in the fridge, luxury soap and beautifully folded swan towels on the beds created a truly welcoming feeling. We can definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to come on holiday.
