Heuwelsig Cottages is situated just five km from the well-known village of Franschhoek, which is working wine farm. It is surrounded by and abundants of vineyards and orchards.

Heuwelsig cottages comprises of three lavish self-catering units, each with its own en-suite bathrooms. They are individually decorated with only the finest white linen, pure fluffy white towels, under floor heating, DStv. They have private entrances with magnificent views that overlooks the Franschhoek beautiful range of mountains.

Our warm, friendly staff, will welcome you at our Heuwelsig Cottages, which provides a feeling of a secure, modern and relaxing environment, where it's as if the one room is flowing into the next.

The property boasts a sparkling splash pool, that is fenced, for your peace of mind, and to simply just relax at and enjoy the views. A log fire places awaits you , for those cold winter nights and there is an added portable barbeque facility, on the premises for the guests use.

Invigorate your senses and rejuvenate your mind by treating yourself to a beauty treatment in your room, offered by a mobile beauty therapist.

Please inform the manager on duty if you for some peace and relaxation time.

Heuwelsig Cottages, do not have a 24 hour reception service. Please note, the reception office closes at 16:00 pm Monday to Friday. will be arriving after 16:00 on your day of arrival to ensure that you receive assistance with checking yourself in with all the necessary information required.

Our guests can be assured of a remarkable stay, with surroundings that is elegant, spectacular view of sweeping landscapes, mountain ranges and vineyards. We specialize in rental to the discerning clientele on a monthly basis.

Beautiful Francshoek farm stay by

We had a lovely stay in the 1 bed self catering cottage. It's only 5kms from Francshoek which is really convenient, but you get the feel of staying on a farm in the country as well. The hostess was very welcoming and helpful. The cottages have recently been refurbished, so everything was nice and new. The decor is lovely and the bedroom has excellent linen, etc. The kitchen is fully eqipped and there are great braai facilities and 2 lovely patios to choose from. We appreciated the attention to detail. The only issue was that the cottage wasn't serviced. We were there over a weekend and a public holiday, but it wasn't mentioned to us that the cottage won't be serviced. It wasn't too much of a problem as we only ate out so we did not use the kitchen. However, it would have been good to have known whether the cottage gets serviced or not, and whether we can order service at an extra cost, etc. But overall. we had a lovely time and I highly recommened it.

Lovely accommodation in perfect part of Franschoek - far from the maddening crowds but close enough for a quick eat or shop.
Beautifully laid out, extremely comfortable and would return quite happily!
