The cottage is rustic but affords all necessary for a get-away. Easy access to walks in the forest, star-gazing on a clear night and views of the Outeniqua mountains. The cottage is spacious and comfortable and has everything required for a nice stay.

Great attention to detail and warm and caring hospitality from Marko. Short drives to stunning forest walks and mountain pools. Disappointing - not cleaned by Edyta Coetzee 21 March 2018 The shower was not cleaned (cleaned my own shower). tbe bin in bathroom was not cleared. so we were very doubtful the bedding was cleaned. The welcome by some guy that was stoned was less than pleasant.... one very strong positive there is! view is amazing but at a cost of a very long dust road. dont come with a sadan. Also not used to not having tiwels provided. and last ting the website makes it sound like there are two rooms. but actually one loft that devides with a curtain. floors creak so you can hear every move. Would i come back? no but some that enjoy rustuc rustic might. certainly hidden. one more thing a starved cat broke our heart. slept outside the door. and devoured any scraps falling of the table. we think it had not eaten for days. i believe the owner was not there so this person in charge might have just taken shortcuts. it had pretty good reviews before us so we booked. I wish i actually read the comments and not just went on star rating. Awesome time by Jeanre Bosch 31 March 2018 What a lovely stay. Very nice equipt cottage with a great view. Marko was very accomdating to help us feel welcome and comfortable. The cottage was very tidy and it felt like a home away from home. Only suggestions:
1. Bedding inadequate for winter so please upgrade duvets
