Highland Quarters is set in the beautiful town, Clarens. This artistic treasure is three hours away from Johannesburg and just under three hours from Bloemfontein.

There are nine rooms in this bed and breakfast. Each room has a private entrance and includes an en-suite bathroom, a television with a DStv connection and tea and coffee facilities. Guests also have access to the Wi-Fi Internet. The rooms boasts beautiful views of the town and its surroundings. Parking is available in the street.

Clarens has various charming shops, a wide range of art galleries and several restaurants. In winter it transforms into a skier's paradise and in summer guests can enjoy amazing sunsets displayed on the sandstone mountains.

We loved loved everything. The worse thing was leaving. The rooms were tastefully designed. The location is close nearly on the town square and all the towns activity. It means all you have to do is park your car when you arrive and get in when you checkout. The staff were friendly and the they went the extra mile in making our 10th wedding anniversary very, very special.

We loved the friendly staff, clean rooms and that it has such a great location in the middle of the village. It felt very safe and we loved that you could walk undisturb on the streets.
