The Homestead Guesthouse and Coffee Shoppe is located in Vaalpark which is a residential area of Sasolburg. Situated next to the R59 highway, the Homestead is only a stone's throw away from the Penny Heyns Olympic swimming pool, the Emerald Casino, several river resorts and the Etienne Rousseau Theatre.

The 3 Star graded guest house targets corporate guests but also caters for guests on a weekend away for leisure or a family affair. Hearty but healthy food and the exclusive service that the guest house provides puts it a cut above the rest. Each guest is offered a menu at the breakfast table and all preferences and special requirements are taken into account.

The coffee shop offers exclusive home-made meals, comfort food, Italian coffee and homely hospitality. If it's a conference room you require or a private corner to have a meeting in, look no further. Conference facilities cater for up to 20 people, and all catering requirements can be met by the coffee shop. Wi-Fi access makes the establishment a hot spot for computer junkies. High quality dining with a nostalgic feel, as well as the rustic ambiance of the establishment makes it a worthwhile destination to visit. As beautifully as the rooms were decorated we did not getting any sleep as the rooms we were given were facing directly onto the main highway. The noise from trucks and cars was continued throughout the night. We booked out after the first night.
Establishment's Response:
Homestead apologise for any inconvenience. The Establishment had build 3 new rooms in that time period of the stay. The wrong Window-glass was installed but would like to ensure you that the windows were replaced with thicker more isolated glass and the problem have been resolved.
