Welcome to paradise.

Our tented bushcamp lies in the heart of a 3500ha private concession in the most game rich part of the Dinokeng Big 5 game reserve.

It comprises of 3 Safari tents that sleeps up to 6 people. The main lapa is a converted building that used to be farm workers accommodation. It houses a kitchen, single bathroom with shower, entertainment area and fire pit. The whole camp is powered by solar and gas, and gives you a truly special safari experience.

If you want a bush experience with all the mod cons, TV's, hairdryers and electronic appliances set in perfectly manicured gardens, then this Camp is NOT for you. If you want a raw, basic, bush experience off the grid and away from the electronic mod cons, then this is the place to be.

As it is a private concession area game drives can be arranged at R300 per person. Self drive routes are also available nearby.

Fully catered options are available on request.

Please note vehicles or off road trailers with slightly higher ground clearance are recommended.

We liked the feeling of being completely cut from our lives in town at only 1:30 away. Very friendly welcome, excellent beds under the tent and pleasure to sleep with only a mosquito net between you and nature. However, the fenced camp is very small and 30 mns away from the road. You need to have organised your activities there long in advance with the office since you are not allowed to walk around or self-drive. and therefore might feel trapped inside. Bring a lot of cool drinks!

We loved being the only couple at the camp, the lions that we heard in the morning and the wild life we were able to observe.
