Imani Beach Villa

Imani is an intimate beach villa, nestled amongst local culture in the small town of Bububu, close to Stone Town. Furnished in traditional Zanzibar style, each room has a different character thanks to the many antiques throughout the hotel. Most bedrooms boast antique four poster beds and each room is cleaned every day to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

In a beautiful tropical garden with a private beach, our boutique hotel with seven distinctive rooms offers exotic comforts, from sleeping on four poster antique beds to eating at traditional Moorish low tables in the restaurant. Guests sample fresh seafood caught by the local fisherman, organic produce from the garden, and spices from nearby plantations. Throughout the year home-grown delights such as passion fruit, coconut, lychee or lemongrass can be tasted in a variety of our freshly prepared dishes or original cocktails mixed before you at the bar.

The Imani is a place to enjoy nature's beauty and simplicity. There are no TVs and no swimming pool, but the Indian Ocean is a warm 27 degrees and just a few steps from your bedroom door. Every room has private en-suite shower room and air-conditioning, ensuring guests can enjoy these essential modern comforts. Crucially, there are no adjacent hotels and few electric lights along the beach mean that, at night, the view of the stars is amazing.
