Imhoff Park is a three star resort, situated in Kommetjie and means little basin' on the Atlantic seaboard of the Cape South Peninsula, some 32 km from Cape Town and 10 km from Fish Hoek. It is landscaped in such a way that it blends in with the natural environment. The resort fronts on two of the Capes finest unspoilt beaches long beach, renowned for its surfing and the expansive Noordhoek beach. The park has a clear view of the world famous Chapman's Peak and Hout Bay Harbour.
The resort has two fully equipped self-catering, two bedroomed, sea facing chalets. Each Chalet has one one double bed and two single beds in each room, and can sleep four guests per chalet. There is an open-plan kitchen/dining area, lounge and full bathroom. Each chalet has an enclosed patio with built in braai and magnificent sea views and is three stars graded. Bedding supplied.
The beaches at Kommetjie are a delight for sun worshippers and nature lovers, and the extensive coastline and clear waters are a paradise for rock anglers, deep-sea fisherman and divers. Fully grassed, electrified, level, stands for either camping or caravanning and offer spotlessly clean ablutions, fridge, freezer facilities also available. The roads are tarred and the area is well lit at night. There is a children's playground a games room with a snooker table, table tennis and games machines. TV room offers one selected DSTV or M-Net channel and adjoins the entertainment hall. With a bit of luck whales sometimes do appear directly in front of the Park.
