Ishasha Jungle Lodge

On the banks of the river Ntungwe, just 3 km from the Katokye Gate of the Queen Elizabeth National Park, the Ishasha Jungle Lodge is ideal for photographic safaris and as a stopover en-route to the Bwindi National Park.

Sheltered in the thick of a forest, with the grasslands of the savannah just a drive down the beaten path, accommodation is set in four attractive cottages and a main lodge with bar and restaurant.

Small and eco-friendly, the lodge is made entirely of local materials and African art. The cottages lie on raised wooden decks and offer spacious rooms and bathrooms, all finished with canvas.

The restaurant offers international standards, with its menu and dining area. Solar power and solar heaters ensure clients the best comfort in the wilderness, and water is provided by a borehole.
