There are seven spacious en-suite single uncluttered rooms, access to a fully equipped kitchen with indoor braai/hearth, roomy lounge, wide veranda on the street and stone-paved patio in the rear.

The uncluttered single en-suite rooms are all spacious with high ceilings. Wi-Fi is accessible in all rooms. All rooms have own showers, basins and showers. Oil heaters, electric blankets and duvets are supplied for the cold winter nights.

Sutherland is renowned internationally for its excellent observatories and dark skies. The Roggeveld is a paradise for outdoor adventures for the hiker, biker and cyclist. For the stargazer, historian or palaeontologist, enough for a lifetime. There is a home industry across the street for fresh home bakes. The main street has a few convenience stores, bottle stores and a butchery as well as a number of good restaurants.
