Jambalya is beautiful self-catering holiday accommodation in two large houses. It is situated in Bartlomeas Dias Point, 30 km north of Inhassoro, Mozambique. The houses are only accessible via 4x4 vehicles.

The houses are very private and located directly on the beach, each sleeping 10 guests comfortably. There are launching and mooring facilities in front of the houses; boats can be left on the lagoon.

The houses are fully furnished and serviced daily by our staff. Please bring along bathing and swimming towels, torches, mosquito lotion and charcoal. Borehole water is used, so guests must use the water filter for drinking water. A property manager will be available to assist should guests have any requests.

The Bartlomeas Dias Point area provides for excellent fishing, whether it is surf fishing or deep sea fishing for a variety of spectacular fish. The closest island is Bartlomeas Dias Island, located 13 km north of the houses; it is a deserted island with the most amazing shells.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jambalya, definitely the best spot to stay along the BD Point (in Inhassoro), we were treated like absolute kings and would recommend this place to all our friends and family. Thank you again to Charl for all the help we will definitely be back

Excellent holiday. our best to date yet. If we could stay there for about 4 months it might be possible to explore all the areas such as inland reserves, mangrove which seems to be endless, the lagoon areas and the islands which we did one off. Very friendly people and everything is so cheap. It is quite a distance to travel from gauteng but worthwhile but that is why we booked 12 days.Their are 2 houseboys who do the dishes, clean the house, arrange "local" prices for seafood, crabs etc. Bottled water is bought from the store in Inhasorro and fresh water can be collected not far from their at a tap for free. Try the "pao" from the bakery. The mozzies were the only problem.

Love the nature.. thanks to Alfonso..he is really a bonus for this house - make my holiday a real holiday !! Also thanks to the owner Charl.. who is always willing to assist with all my questions.. Definitly will see me again one day.
