Jovali is situated on 11 hectares of stunning countryside, a mere 6 km from the Clarens village. We offer two self-catering studio units, each beautifully and tastefully decorated. The units are accommodated at ground level and are quite separate from the main house, providing guests comfort and privacy.

Each studio unit features a luxurious bedroom with queen-size bed and view, dining area, lounge with DStv, fully-equipped kitchenette, bathroom with bath and shower, and an outside patio with barbecue facilities. From the patio, there are uninterrupted views of the Klein Caledon River, Mount Horeb, the Golden Gate Valley, and the Rooiberge. For the more energetic, take a walk down to the perennial and pristine Klein Caledon River with its tree-lined banks.

To John and Aukeline, thank you so much for an absolutely stunning weekend. The views are fantastic, the peace and tranquility is out of this world. The standard of the rooms are top class with beautiful finishes. And then there's the small little extras that show you care for your guests. I will definitely return and will highly recommend you to all my friends and family.

We found the rooms to be very clean and well equipped. The rusks that were provided went down very well with our morning coffee! When we mentioned this to Aukeline she supplied us a freshly baked batch!

Stunning view, delicious rusks and everything you need! by

My hubby, myself and our 4 month ild baby stayed here for 6 nights and ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! Comfortable, stunning, warm, super friendly hosts, delicious rusks ect ect. We enjoyed going out for MTB cycles and afternoon runs! Definitely recommended to those needing to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. Thank you for an amazing stay!!

Peacefull Jovali by

Jovali is a great stay if you wish to get out of Gauteng. It is so quite that you can hear yourself recharge. You are staying outside of Clarens but it is not that far that you can't drive in for dinner. Aukeline is friendly and made sure everything is in order. Her rusks are to die for. We had a great stay and we are planning to return in the winter next year.

Peaceful environment by

Absolutely amazing. Aukeline was so kind and the unit has everything you could need. Waking up to the view of the hills was beautiful. Also appreciated that it was away from bustle of Clarens and extremely quiet and calming. Aukeline also prepared risks for us!
