Welcome to Kameel Rust and Vrede B&B and Camping

We offer spacious guest rooms with private entrances. The rooms has en-suite bathrooms, tea and coffee facilities and bar fridges. We also have a parked caravan under the trees that can be used for self catering.

Accommodation is offered in the shade of beautiful trees and gardens and you can watch heavenly sunsets and listen to the sounds of nature. You are invited to the heart of this historical area.

You will be treated to unobtrusive service, which includes a farm breakfast. For added pleasure ther is a braai area and a farm dam where you can relax during the hot summer days. The gardens are an oasis and at night time you will see the smaller wild animals grazing in the garden.

Translating Rust and Vrede means Rest and Peace and you will agree.

It is hard to imagine the cool, green oasis that awaits you when you arrive at Rust and Vrede after a journey through the hot, dry and beautiful North West. A warm welcome by the owner will guarantee your stay is ?beyond expectation'.

We can also arrange a game drive on a neighbouring farm.

Lekker man lekker!

Superb bed, gorgeous bath, very hospitable by

Patrick's directions made it really easy to find in the dark. And I'm really pleased I chose this bed and breakfast to overnight in. I had a very early start the next day. I needed to deliver a workshop in Stella at 7.30am. Patrick was very helpful, organising a delicious early breakfast (with real brewed coffee), and great advice on how to get to my destination on time. The room I stayed in was really lovely. Artworks on the walls. Little details like candles and ribbon-wrapped matchboxes made it feel very welcoming. The bed was excellent. And the duvet was luxurious. Excellent pillows, too. I had a very good sleep. It's nearing the end of winter, and it was around 6°C outside. Happily, the cold stayed outside. The bath is gigantic. And the towels are top quality luxurious bath sheets. If I'm ever in that area for a workshop, I'll definitely stay at Kameel Rust & Vrede again. Thanks to the proprietors for creating such a lovely space.
