Kameelboom Lodge is popular as a stop-over point for guests on their way to the Kalahari Desert. The lodge is situated 6.5km from Vryburg, on the road to Kuruman, and comprises 18 double or twin air-conditioned rooms, each with air-conditioning, TV, and an en-suite bathroom. We also offer a large family room as well as five more affordable rooms with full facilities including TV, a kettle, bathroom, and barbecue facilities. In addition, we offer 20 caravan and five tented campsites with electrical points, ablution facilities, a restaurant, and bar. A selection of shady, part shade or sunny sites are available and the ablution facilities are modern and hygienically clean, with an abundance of hot water. There is also a large, well maintained scullery with laundry facilities for guests' convenience.We offer healthy breakfasts served in the dining room that will last you the whole day, or enjoy lovely dinners in the dining room from the set menu or decide on any of the mouth-watering dishes from the a la carte menu. Enjoy tea-time on the shady verandahs during the day with tea or coffee and a slice of our delicious cake of the day. A fully equipped bar area with DStv caters for the whole family and guests are more than welcome to make use of the barbecue facilities in the beautiful garden.Our large swimming pool invites guests to cool off during warm summer days or indulge in a spot of bird watching - guinea fowl, pheasants, peacocks, and doves freely walk about the luscious gardens. For the more energetic visitor, Kameelboom Lodge offers walking and hiking routes.Enjoy watching extravagant sunsets from the comfort of your verandah. We also offer a venue for conferences, year-end functions and weddings, accommodating up to 80 guests.
