Come and see the only hippos in the Karoo. You can even enjoy sundowners at the hippo pool followed by a blowout three-course evening braai. Catch your breath in the wide, open spaces of the Karoo. If you are after a bit of action, there is mountain biking, donkey cart rides, birding, night drives and flying at the local airstrip. Two guesthouses are available with wedding and conference facilities.

Great accommodation, great food! by

We had a one night stay at New Holme on our way down to Cape Town. We enjoyed the great facilities and the food was absolutely delicious. We went on a night drive with the owner and even saw an Aardvark and Bat-eared Fox! I will stay longer next time.
