Yet, it has all the modern facilities of an up-market town, like the modern hospital, public as well as private schools, a modern library, sports fields, a golf course, shopping mall, a well known and popular rose garden, etc. The residential areas are lush green and the streets tree-lined. Several wine estates border on the town, most of which have fine restaurants complementing their wine tasting facilities. A great town to live in, and a "must visit".Mariana South AfricaA true gem. Not knowing much about Durbanville, I was pleasantly surprised. The area is pretty, is close to everything, family orientated, and is only a 20-minute drive to Cape Town proper as well as the airport.Jorge Marrero South Africa.
