Kasha Mongo Guesthouse is situated in Somerset West with stunning views of the Helderberg and Hottentots Mountains. The name Khasha Mongo originates from the Zulu language and means 'peaceful home'.

The owners, Anja and Tino, entertain their guests with warm hospitality in an African-style atmosphere. Guests are spoiled with generous breakfast buffets and delicious dinner on request.

Khasha Mongo is a recommended destination by guests from all over the world; their return to South Africa always includes an extended stay at the guest house.

Somerset West is ideally situated in the Western Cape, close to Cape Town, V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain, the Cape Peninsula, and the famous Winelands region. Khasha Mongo is also within easy access of Cape Agulhas, the most southerly point of Africa, and the scenic Garden Route.

Peace and Harmony by

After suffering the loss of my mother my mind was all over the place. Kay and Tina made our stay absolutely perfect. Even when i got my bookings all mixed up, Tina and Kay were patient and friendly, On arrival we were met by two wonderful smiling faces and it remained that way for the duration of our stay, Kay made us feel so at home with his friendly conversations and accommodating breakfasts. The rooms were perfectly furnished, From Down Duvets and bath robes to the "Welcome" Chocolate on my pillow. A beautiful and modern B&B with friendly and accommodating host and Hostess. Friends for life.

We had a wonderful time at Khasha Mongo and were well looked after by hosts Chantal and Robby. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the accommodation itself was incredibly comfortable. If and when we stay in Somerset West again, we will definitely return to this establishment. Thank you very much.
