Kirawira Luxury Tentkamp

Kirawira Luxury Tented Camp is located in Western Serengeti, just 335 km from Arush. The camp is designed in typically Edwardian-style and features 25 widely spaced luxury en-suite tents.

The tents are raised on timber platforms with glorious views of the plains. Each tent has a furnished deck leading to a bedroom furnished in antique Edwardian-style, with steamer trunks, writing desks, brass lamps, rugs, sepia photographs and four-poster beds with patchwork quilts. Each tent also has its own personal valet.

This exclusive camp features an elegant central meeting tent. Keeping with the theme of colonial opulence, the elegant twin dining tents feature Edwardian-style dining furniture whilst the staff members are attired in classical colonial mess uniforms of white Swahili robes. Guests can enjoy five course lunches and dinners as well as a fine selection of wines. The scenic safari bar has a stone terrace and a central firepit for evening sundowners.

The most exclusive of the Serena Group's many safari venues, the lodge is styled to replicate the elegant hunting camps of legendary white hunters such as Denys Finch Hatton and Baron Bror Blixen. It is located adjacent to the famous western corridor of the Serengeti National Park - the arena of the annual migration of over one million wildebeest.
