Kohandè is situated in the scenic Leeuwkloof Valley Conservancy in Gauteng, just north-east of Pretoria at Dewagensdrift in the heart of Dinokeng, making it the ideal destination for nature lovers.

We offer three luxury tents with en-suite bathroom and a fully-equipped kitchenette with fridge/freezer, making self-catering a pleasure. Each tent is private, with its own lovely panoramic view over the bushveld where you can relax and enjoy the spectacular sunsets and listen to the call of jackals. Enjoy sundowners at the lapa by the private dam or in the privacy of your tent's barbecue facility.

Free-roaming game such as kudu, eland, and nyala to name a few can be viewed at leisure and Kohandè is also a bird watcher's paradise, with parrots, flycatchers and many more inhabiting our valley.

Kohandè is within easy reach of Pretoria, Johannesburg, the East and West Rand as well as Oliver Thambo International Airport. We are also 20 km away from Cullinan which is renowned worldwide for its diamonds and the DB Five Game Reserve is virtually on our doorstep. The area is malaria-free and boasts a very moderate climate.

Weekend break by

Kohandé really surprised me when I first arrived there. Didn't expect to get so much out considering how little we paid. It was a fantastic weekend of relaxation and fun braai's. The monkey park nearby was also very fun. Dirk and his family (owners) were very welcoming and friendly. I've been back home for one day and already I wish I could go back. I will definitely go visit again very soon!

Wonderful time by

We had a wonderful time at Kohande. The host, Dirk, was so helpful and friendly. We relaxed and felt totally rejuvenated after our visit. We will definitely be going back.

We want to share this to anyone that needs a break!!Me and Ronelle have never been so happy with a holiday guest house like this one,never seen a place so clean and tidy like this,you could eat from the floor!!the pool was devine and so beautiful clean right there in the bush!!Thanks to Oom Dirk and Safari!!We will tell everyone we know,about this small luxurys place where you can almost touch the hand of God!!we will visit any time again!!

our stay this weekend was everything we hoped it could be. Quiet, clean, well equipped. We enjoyed the out doors and in general just the atmosphere
