Was disappointed about no supper being served on a Friday night, but staff were truly accommodating and set everything up so we could braai in the stunning gardens. The only issues we had were the lack of air conditioning in the outside rooms where we stayed (it's Rustenburg!), and drainage issues from the showers. But truly not bad for one night. Room 11 is no value for money by Teresa Kruger 23 October 2018 Room 11 should not be rented out as a standard room, but rather as a budget room due to all the noise surrounded by this room. It is not fair to charge the same fee for this room as the rest of the standard rooms.
1. Room 11 is by the reception, where guest goes up to their rooms, check in, telephone etc.
2. The parking area is outside off the room- hence guest that comes in very late and makes noise will bother the guests in room 11.
3. Other guest where very noisy in the dinning area @ 21:30 pm till after 22:00 pm. They had a baby/ toddler who screamed most of the time and was hitting the cutlery on the table. The dinning area is very close to room 11. I went to guest in the dinning area to asked them to keep it down- they simply ignored my request. There was no personnel available or no number was provided to bring the noise under the guest house attention.
3. The staff were very very noisy early the next morning (Sunday), even if they were aware that there is a room down the hall with guests. The staff almost screamed on one another, whiles preparing breakfast.
Room 11 was a very big disappointment and no value for money. We made the booking to have a relaxed weekend and our stay was everything but relaxed with all the noise.Noise in a guest house is unexceptionable for me! The whole point of a getaway is to relax and not to be bothered.
Rules should be put into place - so that ALL guest are accommodated and can enjoy their stay.
The breakfast was very nice and the quality of the bedding is very good.
Without all the noise and disruptions it would have been a fair to nice stay. Amazing breakfast by Edson Magaia 12 November 2018 I loved the place, we had a very comfortable stay in.
