Kweekwa Gasteplaas

Kweekwa Guest Farm is situated in the heart of the Karoo. The farm has been in the family for 157 years and the current owners are the fifth generation on the farm. Guests visiting will appreciate the safety, beauty, tranquility and hospitality. The vast Karoo expanse offers visitors the opportunity to walk in nature, enjoying fresh, clean air, typical Karoo scenery, bird watching, and indigenous vegetation.

Kweekwa is the main homestead where the owners, Jannie and Bimpie, live. Kweekwa offers accommodation in a separate homestead and a self-catering cottage, Witkrans and Bimpie's Cottage. Both are fully equipped for self-catering. Activities on the farm include bird watching, game viewing, mountain biking, hiking and climbing, horse riding by prior arrangement, stargazing, and farm activities. We also offer various Karoo farm products for sale including fresh bread, preserves, rusks, fresh milk and farm butter, and Karoo lamb by prior arrangement.
