La Sosta Restaurant has become well known as the best restaurant in Swellendam, providing top quality Italian fine dining and excellent wine to it's customers, many of whom are regular visitors from overseas.The guesthouse provides six guest rooms, three of which are located in the traditional Cape style thatch-roofed homestead, known as Cornelia's Cottage, which was built in 1838.

The other three guest rooms are housed in a new addition and are more luxurious with a larger bathroom and views over the swimming pool and gardens.We also provide a free 'taxi service' to and from the restaurant for guests of other guest houses located in Swellendam town, so that they can really enjoy their time without having to worry about driving themselves.
