Lahlekile Nathi is a charming self-catering wooden house in Marloth Park, a 3000-hectare game reserve on the southern border of the Kruger National Park. The game village is home to four of the Big 5.
The wooden cottage is on stilts and offers undercover parking for two vehicles under the house. It also has a palisade fence that can lock. The cosy holiday home sleeps six guests and comprises two bedrooms, a loft room, a bathroom and a guest toilet.
The entrance to the cottage is via stairs and there is a large deck on both sides. To the left is a picnic area with built-in braai facilities and a splash pool with a view of the man-made waterhole where game regularly comes to drink water. There is a large marula tree that offers a lot of shade and the nightingales play very nicely in it.
To the right of the cottage is an outdoor dining area with access to the living area and open-plan kitchen. There is air-conditioning and the kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, microwave, oven, two-plate stove and a kettle. The bedrooms each have a double bed and a mosquito net and share the bathroom with a shower, bath and a basin. There is a separate guest toilet with a basin. The loft area has 2 single beds and a small lounge where children can play. The cottage also has a forest shower with hot water.
Lahlekile Nathi is close to Lions Spruit, 1.2 kilometres from the Kruger border fence at the Crocodile River and about 43.2 kilometres from the Malelane Gate.
