Lakeside no. 5 at Critchley Hackle Lodge

Critchley Hackle Lodge is situated in Dullstroom, a delightful town which is a two and a half hours drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria. Critchley Hackle Lodge was built and opened in the 1980's and has always been a popular, up-market destination (especially for couples).

Lakeside No. 5 is one of the lakeside suites at Critchley Hackle Lodge and overlooks the trout dam and serene gardens. The suite is privately owned and not one of the suites managed by the hotel.

The suite has a king size bed, lounge area with DStv and fireplace, full bathroom with corner bath, shower and double basin. The underfloor heating in the bathroom, electric blanket, oil heater and fireplace ensure that our guests are kept warm throughout their stay with us. The Suite can accommodate a maximum of two guests at a time.

The booking is on a bed only basis however, there is a restaurant conveniently situated on Critchley Hackle's grounds. Breakfast and other meals can be enjoyed at the Lakeside Restaurant as a paying guest. The Lakeside restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch every day of the week and they are also open for dinner on Friday and Saturday night.

Critchley Hackle is conveniently located in the heart of Dullstroom which means there are numerous restaurants, coffee shops and pubs within walking distance of the establishment.

During the summer months guests are more than welcome to use the swimming pool where swimming towels are provided in case you require them.

There is a small trout dam on the premises and guests are welcome to make use of the trout dam (further information can be obtained from the reception at the restaurant).
