Lazy Lizzards is located in the stunning mountainous area of Somerset West. We offer affordable, comfortable and modern self-catering accommodation.

The self-catering units are modern, vibrant and relaxed. We offer you all the comforts of home within easy access of all the major attractions that the Western Cape has to offer. Scenic beauty, beaches, wine farms, shopping malls and the N2 highway and R44 route are all just a 10-minute drive away.

The units have DStv and Internet access. The outside area offers a deck with braai facilities, stunning mountain views and a swimming pool. A separate courtyard with a koi pond and safe under-cover, off-street parking are also part of our facilities. A laundry and maid service is available twice weekly and can be arranged on a daily basis at an additional charge.

What more could one ask for! by

We were looking for a weekend accommodation to visit the Helderberg Wine Festival. Lazy Lizzards was the perfect find, lovely modern accommodation with a beautiful braai area (bbq), terras, garden, swimming pool and not to forget - amazing views of the surrounding mountains. Hans and Anja made us feel right at home and were very helpful in advising us about the area. Simply perfect!

Lazy Lizzards - Wow! by

We had a wonderful week at Lazy Lizzards - all thanks to the great hospitality shown by Anja and Hans. The apartment was impeccable, beautifully decorated and so comfortable. It is so apparent that a lot if attention and thought has gone into this little holiday flatlet. And those views....to die for! Finally, we were adopted by 3 very friendly, vivacious doggys who spent more time with us (albeit because of the roast beef snacks on offer) than with their real mom amd dad! They were in big danger of being dognapped!! We loved every minute and will definately recommend it to friends and family! Thanks again Anja and Hans - we hope to be back some day!

Very nice place to stay by

We had a very pleasant stay for more than a month at Lazy Lizzards. A perfect place for us and our 3 children, the dogs (at some point even 4) arranged the entertainment for our boys. Hans and Anja were very nice hosts and nothing was too much. So we can really recommend this guesthouse to others.
