Le Whale is situated in the sought after Vermont, Hermanus.
Le Whale accommodation has 2 units on the premises (main house of the owner also on premises):
1. Le Whale Garden Cottage (self catering) beautiful decorated one bedroom cottage with double bed, bathroom with shower, basin and toilet, a fully equipped kitchen, lounge with tv with full DSTV channels, Wifi, a single bed for a 3rd guest in the lounge. Private entrance.
2. Le Whale Guest cottage (self catering) includes: kitchenette, 2 x 3/4 beds and a bathroom with shower, basin and toilet. Tv with full DSTV channels. Wifi. Private entrance.

Braai facility available for the guests in the garden.

Guests can enjoy a mere 3 minutes' walk to the sea and Jan Rabie tidal pool, or venture out to see attractions such as the Fernkloof Nature Reserve and the Hermanus Golf Club.

The popular Onrus beach is only 7 minutes drive from us. Or take a walk on the beautiful cliff path while enjoying the sea view.

- Child policy: Minimum age for children is 6 years, children pay as per guest rates.

We stayed at the above Cottage over the past weekend and would through your booking agency let the Owners of La Whale Cottage in Vermont know pleasant and they made our stay and how pleasant it was to stay there. Really a great place. Clean, well stocked, neat and all the comforts of home. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends. 5 Star.

Very comfortable, peaceful overnight stay. Leaticia is very friendly and we will return for a longer stay.

Sounds of the Ocean by

Fantastic stay in self catering so close to the beach. Hearing the waves while in bed was absolute heaven!! Place was neat and clean. I loved the personal touch of rusks for our bedtime snack!!! Just please get Wi-Fi? Oh and the full DSTV package was sure plus for my hubby!!

Ocean Getaway by

The host was lovely, and the room immaculate. Loved how close we were to the beach. Few recommendations: I was under the impression we were staying in the self catering cottage. So arriving and being given the room wasn't a problem. My suggestions would be to include a sink / counter in the kitchen area as well as a two plate stove. Hairdryer in room. Alternatively clearly state that this is a room and consider B&B as it isn't really equipped for self catering. I would highly recommend Le Whale and understand you have recently added the room - please take it as helpful hints as I am in no way complaining.
