Lemon Tree Lodge is comfortable home-away-from-home accommodation in the heart of Fouriesburg.

Conveniently located at number 6 Reitz Street, just off the main street on the edge of town, you will find our delightfully quaint sandstone cottage built during the Boer War. With three spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms (one en-suite), dining room, kitchen and a braai area you are guaranteed to have a fantastic stay.

Oom Chris and Aunty Maxine invite you to wake up to breath-taking panoramic views of the Maluti Mountains and experience hospitality that will have you wanting to return as soon as you can.

There are three spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms sharing one en-suite, a dining nook and fully equipped self-catering kitchen. A braai facility is available and guests can also enjoy tea and coffee, along with farm-fresh milk and homemade rusks. All the bedrooms enjoy views of the garden that is teeming with birdlife, along with mountain vistas.

Lemon Tree Lodge is a five minute walk from the local pubs, restaurants and shops and a short drive from Golden Gate, Clarens, Ficksburg and Bethlehem.

We are a popular overnight stopover for guests' en-route to Afriski, which is approximately 90 km away.

This is one of the most beautiful Lodges I have stayed at. The house is stunningly decorated and you feel at hoem straight away.

Disappointing by

Room very cramped and hot. Bathroom no lights. Shower didn't drain. Kitchen shared with other occupants and not well equipped. Little privacy. It is a room in an occupied house. Not good value for money.

Lemon Tree Lodge has three comfortable sized rooms and the guest wing is separated from the main living area, so the review that guests are staying in a cramped room in a private residence is not factual. A good quality fan was provided, unfortunately, the hot weather is beyond our control. Also, these particular guests were given solar power lights due to the light fitting in the bathroom being faulty, unfortunately, an electrician was not available at that time of night.

We are sorry about your unpleasant experience and wish to offer you our sincere apologies and will try our best to ensure that our future guests are comfortable and leave feeling relaxed.

Nice warm cosy place with owner Maxine who really looks after all guests and makes your stay comfortable! We loved stay there on our way to Lesotho and would recommend it to our friends!
