L'Habitation Hotel

L'Habitation Hotel is situated in the National Marine Park, some 5 km from Mahe and Victoria, the capital. Cerf Islands is surrounded by white sandy beaches and coves and is covered in dense tropical vegetation. The surrounding reefs abound in rich marine life - a paradise for divers. This second tourism establishment of the island offers a discerning atmosphere ideal for those seeking privacy in a peaceful setting.

L'Habitation blends perfectly with its surroundings on this small granite island, extending 1.7 km long by 900 m wide, and can accommodate up to 28 guests. The main building, which was designed as a Colonial plantation house, offers 10 very comfortable and spacious rooms with a terrace overlooking the sea and the Marine Park. In addition, there are also two new junior suites in bungalow-style. All of the rooms contain an en-suite bathroom and feature air-conditioning, a hairdryer, TV, telephone, minibar, and tea and coffee-making facilities.

L'Habitation now also offers a new jetty for easier disembarkation to the island, and there is a complimentary day room where guests can relax for the final hours of their stay before taking their flights back home.

The plantation-style restaurant boasts exclusive Creole cuisine comprising local fish, seafood, meat and fruit, as well as reputable international cuisine. We also have a thatched beach kiosk serving Creole and grilled fresh fish for lunch only. There is also a bar, swimming pool, and a games room. Activities including snorkelling, canoeing, diving, big game fishing, long-line fishing, and full day boating excursions with picnics.
