LILY'S COTTAGE RESENSIES (100 %) Superb is an understatement! Home away from home by Christel Van Den Heever 04 July 2017 We stayed at Lily's Cottage for comrades weekend. What a memorable stay, Arthur and Lizelle really made our Comrades weekend one to remember. This is a real home away from home. Arthur and Lizelle went OUT of their way to make us feel welcome. The cottage is clean, ample space for 5 guests and has everything you need ? including body lotion, shower gel, shampoo, condition and face wipes in the bathroom! We were welcomed by our hosts in the most sincere way - milk and juice in the fridge, bread in the pantry and chips and sweets on the table! We enquired if there are wood for a fire and when we opened our door, Arthur arranged for the braai to be put in front of the cottage's door. This cottage is near everything ? restaurants and shops. Secure and safe parking. We left the cottage the morning of Comrades at 3h30am and Arthur and Lizelle were there to wish me luck ? after a long day of running I was greeted back with big congratulations and a box of fancy chocolates and a card. This is the most affordable place and definitely MORE than value for money. Arthur and Lizelle go out of their way to make you feel like a five star guest ? this is definitely their passion.
