Welcome to Linquenda Guest Farm. Situated in a magnificent setting of mountains and vineyards, Linquenda is an ideal destination located on the Annandale Road off the R44, the main road joining Stellenbosch and Somerset West. This forms part of the Stellenbosch Wine Route which is arguably the country's most famous wine route. Stellenbosch is the heart of South Africa's wine industry and a place of great beauty and culture.

You could use Linquenda as a base to explore some of the surrounding 106 wine cellars, the Cape Peninsula, Stellenbosch, Somerset West, Cape Town, Paarl, Franschhoek and Wellington, all within an hour's drive from the farm.

Our central location means we are a mere 11 km from the nearest beach at the Strand, and 30 km from Cape Town International Airport. We are also in close proximity to horse riding, mountain bike routes, great golf courses, and hiking trails. The cultural centres, theatres, art galleries, museums, and international art collections are also within close range. Wildlife is represented in the form of the local crocodile farm, cheetahs and birds of prey at Spier, Butterfly World, and several game reserves nearby.

Linquenda Guest Farm offers two self-catering apartments, each with two bedrooms comprising one queen-size and two single beds that can be joined together. The apartments boast two bathrooms, one en-suite, with all necessary amenities as well as a fully-equipped, open-plan kitchen with a microwave, dishwasher, and oven.

A spacious lounge, with a peek of the Winelands, invites you outside onto the deck with barbecue facilities and a beautiful view of Table Mountain. These units have air-conditioning to keep you cool during the hot summer months and a flat screen TV and decoders for entertainment during those cosy winter months, next to a beautiful fireplace.

Linquenda Guest Farm recently added a stand-alone, self-catering cottage to the available facilities. Pecanut Cottage, named after the big pecan nut trees close by, offers a fresh, modern interior that would make any domestic goddess green with envy. The two bedrooms with stone-finish bathroom promise a luxurious and relaxing stay.

Wonderful by

We had a wonderful time. It was my sons wedding, so we were very excited and enjoyed our stay very much. Could have been a bit longer though as we left again on Sunday morning. Everything we required was there. Thanks so much.

Home from home by

This was my second time at Linquenda in the Tableview cottage. It's really a home from home for me: waking up to the sight of Table Mountain every morning and even the dogs were there every day to welcome me. I strongly recommend this accommodation...with added touches of swimming pool, fireplace and cd player.

This was our second stay at Linquenda and we can't wait to return.We are a family of 4 and stayed in Table View Cottage, which is bigger than Pecant Nut Cottage in which we stayed previously.The Cottages are comfortable and has everything you would need for self catering.It was very cold so the indoor fireplace was very welcome and effective.In Summer, Table View's proximity to the swiming pool makes it ideal.Linquenda is beautifully peaceful with horses, geese, chickens and neighbouring cows close by.The owners 2 dogs are very friendly and popped in to join us for our braais, or just to laze on the balcony.The farm is perfect for children who can run around freely - just the way it should be for 7 and 10 year olds. Linquenda is also the perfect place to use as a base to explore some of Stelenbosch's activities, where nothing seems more than 5 minutes away e.g. Root 44 market and Duck Parade at Vergenoegd. Wine farms within 5 minutes - Peter Falke,Annandale,Rust en Vrede and Eikendal.So much to do, so little time !!!!

Graduation Stay by

This was our third as we remembered from before everything was superb and lived up to expectations. Wonderful ambience, lovely to hear the geese and the horses, such a relaxed environment.
