Little Governors Camp

Little Governors Camp is intimate in character, with just 17 Luxury En-suite Tents tucked around a large watering hole in the Masai Mara, that teems with both bird- and wildlife.

The camp is accessed by boat across the Mara River, and then an escorted walk through the forest. Vehicles are left on the far river bank. This ensures the camp is quiet and undisturbed.

The guest tents have wooden decks with large verandas for guests to enjoy the constant game activity around the watering hole. Guests may need to make way for elephants which sometimes visit the camp at lunch time.

Little Governors Camp is located in the heart of the Masai Mara National Reserve. Game viewing is superb as the camp is tucked into a lovely corner of the forest, overlooking a marsh where elephant, waterbuck, giraffe and warthog come to drink.

All activities are tailored to make the most of this unique wilderness area, and include game drives in the Masai Mara National Reserve, guided walking safaris, hot air balloon safaris, and visits to our community projects and Masai Manyatta. We can also arrange day and overnight trips to Lake Victoria.
