Lobster Nest Guest Apartment is a clean, comfortable and safe place to stay. It is conveniently located in the oldest part of small coastal resort town of Langstrand, along the Atlantic shoreline of Namibia.

The self-catering open-plan, ground-floor unit with view as on first floor, comprises of a queen size bed, sleeper couch, a private bathroom with combined shower and bath, with hygiene stuff and towels, feather and silicone pillows, 2 light duvets, 1 Peruvian alpaca wool blanket, 1 light blanket, a well-equipped kitchen with bottled water, muesli, coffee pot and tea facilities, sugar, sweetener, ground coffee, a lounge with satellite TV, wardrobe with ironing, steaming and linen drying facilities.
Dining area with a four-seater table with 2 rattan chairs and 2 armchairs, rocking chair, and a built-in braai with accessories.

The kitchen include all cutlery and crockery, stove, microwave oven, electric kettle, mixer and fridge. The abode also offers guests parking in secured single garage and secured visitor's parking on the premises.
Fisherman chair and bicycle rental provided to the guests for free.

Guests can enjoy an abundance of great attractions in and around the area, including the stunning beach, the Namib Desert in Swakopmund and the Walvis Bay Waterfront.
For children soft puzzle mats, books, beach toys, Twister game provided during the stay.

No pets allowed, fine N$2500.

MISREPRESENTATION by

The advert for Lobster Nest states accommodation for 4 people.  I reserved the unit for 3 people and on arrival saw one double bed and a sofa.  The sofa was definitely not a sleeper couch and I would say a child of 8 years or older would not sleep comfortably on the small sofa.  The linen did not appear to be freshly laundered with the duvets stuffed into the cupboard.  There was no additional linen or pillows for the sofa.  I welcomed the fact that the owner admitted misrepresentation and offered a full refund.

hank you for your review! We are working on improving quality of our services and your opinion is very important for us.
When you booked the unit, in its description was stated that it can accommodate 3 persons, and equipped with soft couch, NOT sleeper couch. On previous offer 3rd guest stayed for free.
Impossibility of your 3rd guest to sleep on soft couch influenced to us to replace it  (which before accommodated children and adults of medium tall) to big sleeper couch, increasing sleeps in unit to 4. We also suggest you further keep in mind high tall of your guests when booking next time.
We always provide fresh bed linen and towels to our guests, and frankly do not understand how fresh sheets, 3 duvets and 6 pillows in unit dissatisfied you. We have few sets of bed linen, so we change it after every guest. Had also stayed a little longer, you would know that in the morning at the request of the guest is free maid.
If we consider that your Check-In was at 11:30 am and you arrived around 15.00 without noticing us about it, we still do not put non-appearance and returned your 50% deposit.
Please be more concentrated when future bookings and reviews left, because there is a significant difference between soft couch and sleeper couch, and now, when on updated photos sleeper couch presented, you still write about our unit as there is a sofa, which no longer exists. On previous photos, when you booked, sofa was clearly visible and none of previous guests experienced problems with it.
3rd guest had always stayed for free in our apartment and we will continue this policy with 3rd and 4th guests.
