Longridge Country House is located in the town of Clarens, known as "The Jewel of the Free State".The guest house offers a delightful and well-furnished Self-catering Cottage. The open-plan Self-catering Cottage has a private entrance and garden, and offers a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Electric blankets, wall heaters and extra blankets will keep guests warm during the cold winter months. The kitchenette is equipped with four hotplates, a microwave, bar fridge, kettle and toaster. We provide rusks and tea and coffee facilities. Guests can enjoy their meals at the dining table, relax on the comfortable couch or make use of the Weber on the covered patio and enjoy the mountain view.We provide bathrobes, bath sheets, percale linen and hairdryers. Please note that the cottage does not have a TV and we do not allow smoking and pets.Longridge Country House is located within a 10-minute walk from the bustle of Clarens, which offers a variety of excellent restaurants and takeaway options. Various activities such as golf, fly fishing, hiking, abseiling and white water rafting are available.

Wonderful stay by

We experienced warm hospitality, a tastefully decorated and spacious room with crisp clean linen. The beautiful house and lovely garden with a great view of the mountain made us feel very much at home.

Self Catering Cottage by

A wonderful retreat to Clarens. The self catering cottage was large, beautifully decorated and fabulous views from the windows of the mountains. It had everything you could possibly want or need. Eve was friendly and helpful. A home away from home.

Charming and comfortable cottage by

Eve is a warm and friendly host, the cottage is very well equipped and the little touches, such as milk in the fridge, tea and coffee, as well as a glass of sherry to enjoy, are so thoughtful and welcome. All in all a five star experience.

Beautiful location by

We had a wonderful weekend in Clarens and Longridge Country House is just perfect. It's beautifully furnished, and all the little touches like rusks and tea and coffee, as well as magazines and hiking maps, make it extra special. It has a lovely private garden and gorgeous views on to the mountain. Thank you for a really memorable stay!
