Set against a backdrop of lush green mountainous vegetation, Mabula Game Lodge is set in one of South Africa's finest private game reserves. Only two hours north of Johannesburg, this 12000 hectare reserve is home to an abundance of animal and birdlife, including the Big 5.

Exclusive accommodation is provided in our thatched chalets and suites, all of which are air-conditioned and en-suite. The suites offer guests every comfort in a scenic natural setting. There is a fully licensed bar with accompanying lounge and an outside terrace that is open daily.

Please be advised that the gate entry fees are not included in the rates.

Three nights was not enough by

Mabula was recommended by a friend and she was absolutely right.  I loved it and particularly admired the high level of care for the animals who all looked to be in great condition.    The staff all took great trouble to see that every guest felt relaxed and had a great time.

The game drives with Solly by

We spent only one night at the Lodge, but Solly made sure that we could see the best... Cheetah kill, we arrived just after the kill took place, poor impala was still kicking. But what a magnificent sighting!
