Madidi is an unexpected oasis centrally located in a safe area in Lilongwe, Malawi, within walking distance from shopping malls and close to the main roads of the city. The rooms in this Boutique lodge are all self contained and are all decorated with colour and flair and have a warm, arty African feel to it. We offer accommodation from spacious luxurious executive rooms to self catering camping on our cosy campsite.



At Madidi Lodge we offer professional service with a personal touch. Our well-trained staff is pleased to give you a warm welcome to Madidi Lodge. We are pleased to assist with our business facilities. To receive business relations you can use our lounges and to relax we refer to our swing benches! And of course you can enjoy a drink in our bar.

Conferencing and Banqueting Madidi Lodge is a comfortable and tranquil venue for conferences and meetings.

We offer CONFERENCE facilities for 4 up to 60 guests. Our lounges, restaurant and gardens can be used for breaks during the meeting or workshop. We are well experienced in organising wedding receptions and private functions. It is our goal to cater for our clients according to their wishes. There is secured parking available on the premises.

You can enjoy any of the scrumptious African or Continental dishes in our RESTAURANT. The breakfast, lunches and dinners are served in our stylish decorated inside restaurant or in the lovely inside garden with its cosy ambiance. Our chefs will proudly present you one of their favourite dishes.

The tranquil SPA offers a wide variety of massages, manicures, pedicures, Clinique facials and massages, as well as alternative treatments like Reiki and Crystal Healing.

The in house CAR HIRE & TAXI SERVICE offers competitive rates and reliable service.

This is a nice place with friendly staff and good food. The lodge is currently under renovation and it looks like they are adding some nice touches. I would stay again.

Never stay at Madidi Lodge again by

Concrete floor, no carpet. Outside toilets. No electricity. No water. No credit card facility.

Super satisfied by

I stayed at Madidi for 2 nights at the beginning and end of my backpacking trip through Malawi. The lodge was the perfect place for some proper R&R after a tough 2 weeks by bus. The lodge is really an Oasis in Lilongwe with its beautiful vegetation and crystal clear swimming pool. The staff are very friendly and helpful. By the end of my trip my funds were limited but still the staff saw to it that i had a meal before my long journey back to South Africa. my gratitude goes out to everyone involved. Both Madidi and Malawi are absolute gems, I will definitely be back soon.
