The striking Malewa Wildlife Lodge is set within a glorious woodland along the Malewa River. Once rudimentary, the lodge has been transformed into a luxury eco-lodge that incorporates its dramatic architectural style with traditional building methods and concepts.

The mess area is a beautiful thatch structure that consists of a games area on the upper deck and a lovely communal sitting area with fireplace, dining room and bar on the ground level.

Accommodation is in five traditionally styled buildings, that all offer spacious living quarters with en-suite bathrooms and are set within an acacia forest.

To comply with the eco-footprint, electricity is generated by solar power, waste recycled, water drawn using hydro power, hot water is supplied by efficient boilers, cooking done with gas, and food is sourced from local farmers.

Malewa Wildlife Lodge is a very special retreat. Here guests can enjoy an all-encompassing nature experience that includes gentle walks with expert naturalists, fishing, biking, bush breakfasts or lunches between day or night game drives.
