Guests hoping for a tranquil escape will not be disappointed when choosing to stay at Maluti Safaris. It is nestled deep within the natural beauty of the Eastern Cape, just outside of the town of Ficksburg.

This double-storey sandstone house has two bedrooms, of which both have double beds. Both rooms share a bathroom. The lower level has an open-plan living space which consists of a comfortable lounge and a well-equipped kitchen for all of your self-catering needs.

Guests can enjoy activities such as mountain biking and fishing. Game viewing can be arranged. The farm also has lion cub enclosure that can be enjoyed on request. After a day of discovery, guests can return to the thatched-roof house. The evening presents an opportunity to appreciate a sunset on the balcony, before curling up next to the fireplace.

Surprised by

The children loved the lion cubs and foefie slide. The place is rudimentary but perfectly fine for our quick winter weekend. Lots of game on the farm.

The house is very well situated at the water hole and walking on the farm is enjoyable. The house is spacious but needs some attendance and some extras like electric blankets and more lighting are needed. The host was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place
