The beautiful Waterberg Mountains can be seen and accommodation is provided in 3 safari tents. At night, guests can listen to the roar of lions, hyenas laughing and foxes calling.
Each tent has double or single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Hot water is provided by a donkey. Linen and bath towels are provided, but guests must please. bring their own swimming towels. Power points are available for lights and battery chargers, but because the tents use solar energy, guests must use electricity sparingly. Unfortunately, there are no fans or air conditioning.
The communal kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a gas oven, stove, fridge and microwave. Braai facilities are also available and there is a swimming pool.
There is also a Tom's Cottage that sleeps four guests in two bedrooms. It is a lovely unit on the grounds of the storage area. Tom's cottage uses solar energy and guests are asked to use electricity sparingly. One bedroom has a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a corner bath, basin and toilet.
Sliding doors lead to the outside. The other bedroom has two single beds and an en-suite shower, basin and toilet. The unit has a large patio and open-plan lounge with fireplace. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, microwave and everything needed for self-catering. A braai and patio seating is available.
This sanctuary is home to a variety of animals, such as lions, tigers, hyenas, cheetahs, foxes, meerkats, mouse dogs, claw monkeys and various exotic birds.
