Marula Lodge is a charming, affordable lodge catering for backpackers, self-caterers and full safari seekers. We invite you to come and stay with us at Marula Lodge, the closest camp to the main entrance gate of the South Luangwa National Park.

Our comfortable chalets provide the perfect haven for your Zambian safari getaway. Situated on the outer perimeter of the camp, each chalet has just enough seclusion to make you feel at home, with the chance to put your feet up between busy game-viewing drives. For backpackers, we also offer a small but lovely mixed dorm.

With luck, you could even wake up with an elephant at your doorstep. Relax in your chalet, jump into the pool for a refreshing swim, or enjoy the shade of the magnificent trees at the river's edge. All the while, let yourself be taken care of by our quiet, professional and unobtrusive staff. If you just cannot tear yourself away from the outside world during your stay, wireless Internet access is available in the camp and mobile phone reception is good throughout the South Luangwa area.
