Matingwe Lodge and Private Game Reserve is next to Welgevonden Game Reserve in southwestern Waterberg.

This expansive, tranquil setting offers wonderful scenery, cliffs, clear streams and bushveld hills teeming with indigenous plants and animals, and the Big 5 is also featured here. The area is ideal for picnics. Please inquire about our picnic baskets.

Our suites and units are uniquely decorated and decorated and are surrounded by beautiful trees. Our meticulous attention to detail and art, lend a warm, homely feel to the lodge. The deluxe and luxury suites are suitable for families.

Visitors cannot be talked about about the pristine wilderness experience at Matingwe Game Reserve. Hike, bike, catch fish and remember to bring your binoculars to admire birdlife. Activities in the area include great 5 game drives, horseback riding, rock art excursions and elephant rides.
