Mermaids Gate

Mermaid's Gate is a lovely guest cottage situated on the opposite side of Watamu Beach Road, only a few minutes' walk from the nearest public beach access road.

The unit is a two-bedroom cottage which is spacious and wonderfully furnished throughout. The main bedroom features a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has twin double beds and an en-suite bathroom. All rooms a fitted with air-conditioning, mosquito nets and overhead fans. Upstairs in the roof space are three lamu beds under the makuti roof - this can be used as a sleeping space for adventurous teens, but there are no bathroom facilities upstairs.

On the ground floor is the fully equipped kitchen and living area which are open-plan and divided by a breakfast bar. The living area features unique round seating and opens onto a covered terrace which in turn leads to the garden. The outside area sports a lovely swimming pool to help you cool off during the hotter days of your stay.
