Millpond House is situated in the quaint little village of Clarens in the Eastern Free State. If you are after comfortable, homely accommodation, this is the place to go. It is a haven of peace and tranquility, only a mere eight-minute stroll from the village centre.

The rose-filled garden is a mass of colours and fragrances where chickens roam around freely. There are five individually decorated rooms to choose from, all with spectacular views of the sandstone mountains, with their interesting rock formations. Scrumptious, wholesome, country breakfasts are served in the sunny breakfast room.

Clarens has many interesting little shops, amazing art galleries, coffee bars and restaurants, in addition to a vast variety of outdoor activities that will keep visitors entertained for the duration of their stay.

Clarens is 'n pragtige klein vriendelike dorpie. Net reg vir daai 2de Honeymoon, of naweek weg sonder die kinders. Die Mill's van Millpondhouse is 'n gasvrye ouer paartjie, wat ons dadelik tuis laat voel het. Mev Mills maak die HEERLIKSTE ontbyt, en die uitsig oor die berge is so romanties! Baie dankie vir die maklike website vanwaar ons die oulike plekkie kon kies!

Dit was die LEKKERSTE verblyf, BAIE netjies, skoon en 'n lieflike atmosfeer. Vriendelik ontvang en het sommer dadelik tuis gevoel. Die ontbyt was met liefde voorberei en Heerlik. Ek beveel Millpond House aan ten sterkste!

We were kindly upgraded into a self catering chalet, which was well appointed - even under-floor heating - and the breakfast was really tastey.
