Mount Longonot Lodge is situated on 82 000 acres of land without any fences, offering comfortable accommodation in the Rift Valley. It is set on a hill, between Lake Naivasha and Mount Longonot National Park.

The lodge was built by Martha Gellhorn, former wife to the American writer Ernest Hemmingway. Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of nature in its original form, set at the foot of Mount Longonot. The ranch has lovely views of Lake Naivasha and Hells Gate.

Various species of birds and wild animals are sighted within the ranch, where the animals frequently come to drink water near the house. Being a very private place with good food, this is the ideal location for honeymooners and business executives wanting a peaceful retreat.

Activities include horse-back riding, boat rides, game drives, birdwatching opportunities, climbing, hiking and leisure walks. Experience this unique horse ride experience between a vast grassland with small brushes lying between the volcanic hills. Credit card facilities are also available.
