Mount Savannah is situated within the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site - a 47,000-hectare tourism destination located between Lanseria, Broederstoom, Hekpoort and Oaktree. The 2,000-hectare game reserve upon which Mount Savannah is built is home to buffalo, giraffe, kudu, red hartebeest, impala, zebra, and a variety of birdlife.

It is a great place to get away and relax, and the food was great. They also have very friendly and helpful staff. The service is wonderful and the intimate feel is great for family and couples wanting to re-connect. There is much to do and nothing at the same time - it is all up to you.

Nice and relaxing weekend by Pamela Hudson, South Africa 11 April 2016 We had a very restful time at Mt Savannah, which is exactly why we went there. Breakfast at 9 was nice as there was no hurry in the morning. Johannes took us on a lovely drive through the reserve. The salad and starch provided each night for dinner was great - along with a wonderful grill on which to braai. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Plenty to do in the area, but we didn't leave the property - we just wanted to rest. A very nice weekend. The food, accomodation and the enviroment are on the top of my list not forgeting the breathtaking game drive. i surely had an outstanding value for money experience at Mount Savannah Lodge, will surely be back with the rest of the family.
