Mumbo island is as beautiful (if not more so) than the pictures! It was a wonderful experience spending 7 days on this eco-wonder of an island. The staff are very attentive and the meals were delicious (albeit a little less indigenous than we hoped for). A paradise where you are not pressured into any activities or social situations, but are always able to do so at your leisure. The tents were a little closer to each other than we initially expected and we did lack the privacy we expected, but it was none the less worth a 5 star rating.

Improvements for future: Solar lighting and geyser in tents. Boardwalks to bathrooms. Mosquito net in tent. Mosquito repellent in tents. Homemade rusks for morning coffee. Evening cruise around island lovely. Enjoyed walks and all very relaxing.

Fabulous by

We had a fabulous time! Our third visit and we had the best time.

Rafa was so great accompanying us on snorkeling escapades and I felt so safe with him around.

Staff are very helpful and wonderful and I will continue to recommend to SA and MalawIn friends.

I will definitely want to visit before we leave Malawi in June.
