Nascer Do Sol

Nascer Do Sol is a quiet seaside resort just 40 km outside of Xai-Xai. It offers self-catering accommodation and is located on the sandy beach with views stretching far across the ocean.

The resort accommodation comprises 14 chalets. The A-frame is ideal for a couple and the Octopus is the largest chalet. The remainder of the chalets accommodate four, five or six people. There are also 10 small wooden huts called baraccas scattered under the trees. These huts all make use of a central lapa and a second smaller kitchen with self-catering facilities. They are ideal for those who prefer to rough it.

The Nascer Do Sol Restaurant is ideal for those who prefer not to cook dinner. The menu has something for everybody with the specialty being seafood. There is also a small shop where visitors can get most of the necessities and toiletries without having to drive to Xai-Xai. The resort has a 24-hour power supply for guests' convenience.

The activities at Nascer Do Sol include mainly snorkeling and fishing. There no air-fill facilities for scuba diving, although we can arrange a boat charter for those with their own equipment.
